E.S.D.O.M.L.I.T.Y.T.P.D.F.Y.P.P. is an acronym for Every Single Day of My Life In The Year Two Thousand Painstakingly Documented For Your Perverse Pleasure. The piece is indeed just that. For all 366 days of 2000 I kept precise track of what I was doing hour by hour. Every time the piece is displayed, the information is sized to exactly fit the amount of space given to me by the gallery. Although I have shown it 4 times so far I cannot display the year in its entirety until I receive an Artist's Retreat so I can organize my logs and create the definitive copy of the years events.
E.S.D.O.M.L.I.T.Y.T.P.D.F.Y.P.P. has been displayed at the Rust Spot Gallery in April of 2000 (Jan-Mar), the Uihlein Peters Gallery Emerging Artist's showcase in August of 2000 (Jan-Jun) and at the Gallery 218 Big Blue Shirt Show in April of 2001 (Mar-Jun) where I won a SECOND PLACE viewer's choice award out of 63 artists exhibiting multiple works, and at the Tenant Art Show in July of 2001(first day of each month). It has also received a favorable review by Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal Art Critic James Garner. |
